Our mission is to provide affordable, door-to-door transportation service for Carpinteria residents who do not have other means of transportation or who find that public transportation cannot meet their needs.

In Carpinteria, HELP drives anywhere within the city limits for any purpose including to stores, banks, restaurants, doctor and other professional offices, the senior lunch program, and visits with friends.

HELP also drives non-driving Carpinteria residents to Santa Barbara for medical appointments and social services, including Social Security and the Housing Authority.

HELP is an all-volunteer state chartered, non-profit corporation. HELP depends on the requested donations for our transportation service, but rider donations supports only 25% of the cost of providing that ride. Larger donations are encouraged, but no one is denied a ride for lack of ability to pay.
